Phelps Rd project

    Located in Franklin Lakes, NJ, this project had a big unmanaged outdoor space for both the front yard and backyard. One of the obvious problems was the non-optimal zoning of outdoor space, which had an impact on minimal outdoor activities.

    Our client’s top priorities were to create curb appeal for the front yard with the existing driveway, keep the existing swimming pool and create an entertaining outdoor space for the backyard with selected plants that are sustainable in New Jersey. The client wanted to create a landscape that will be in perfect synergy with the existing building.

    The client asked us to keep the existing driveway so we put great attention to selecting plants to make the front yard more appealing. We used existing boulders and relocated them to different places across the yard.

    We decided that they need some company so we put them together with native flowers and plants to create a more friendly and welcoming atmosphere. At the entrance, we used 2 pillars on both sides and put the water feature close to the main entrance to the house.
